G.P. “Butch” Marceaux, 71, of Santa Fe passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020. He was born on February 20, 1949 in Crowley, Louisiana to Buford and Irene Marceaux-LeBlanc.

She married Ross Johnson on September 23, 1962, at First Lutheran Church, Geneseo. She was employed in sales at North Side Drug, Geneseo Junior High cafeteria, and worked for an eye doctor. She also worked as a hairdresser with her mother. She enjoyed playing Bunco and cards, dancing, and playing slot machines at the casino. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM funeral service on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the funeral home.

Foy, 71, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at home surrounded by family. Born Sunday, March 27, 1949 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph.

Butch was formerly from Texas City working in construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He loved to play and listen to Cajun and Country Music; he enjoyed playing pool; game slot machines on his computer; riding his golf cart, visiting his neighbors and giving all his nieces and nephews rides.

He is preceded in death by his parents; mother of his sons, Thelma Jean Marceaux-Theiler; his granddaughter, Brooke Theiler; his stepsons, Darren Thompson and David Thompson; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Butch is survived by his wife, Jean Marceaux; his two sons, Greg Theiler (Rene), Kevin Theiler (Pam); his step-son, Weldon Thompson; his daughter-in-law, Susan Thompson; one aunt, Letha Abshire (Bobby); three sisters, Faye Pike, Dee Gimenez (Chris) and Carlene Pannell (Charles); three brothers, Lynard Marceaux (Nia), Pookie Marceaux (Diane) and Johnny Le Blanc (Donna); nine grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and “Baby”, his furbaby sidekick.

Elisabeth W. Harper, 75, of Howell passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was born and raised in the Bronx, New York and lived in Lakewood before settling in Howell. Elisabeth worked on communication antennas for CelWave in Marlboro and was integral in the reestablishment of communications immediately following the September 11th terror attacks. She was tasked with rebuilding antennas to restore communications at the World Trade Center site. Elisabeth was a lover of Betty Boop, Bingo on her tablet, and lived for a good snowstorm. She could be found in Atlantic City playing on the slot machines or at home on her computer making spirited comments on Facebook. Elisabeth was a selfless and loving mother, putting her family and the needs of others before her own. She was a supporter of many charities including Destiny’s Bridge and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

She was predeceased by her beloved sister Angelina Sergiano and mother-in-law Helen Koehler in 1989. Elisabeth’s father passed in 1955 and 13 years later, she lost her mother in 1968. Elisabeth is survived by her three sons, Raymond Harper and his wife, Tracie of Howell; James Harper Sr. and his wife, Jackie of Howell; Kenneth Harper and his girlfriend, Jamie Mamuzich of Howell; grandchildren, James Jr., Victoria, Lia, and Alexa; and her fur grandbaby Penny as well as many friends.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM funeral service on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood.
